Our 40th Glorious Year

The Llandrindod Wells Victorian Festival came into being in 1981 when  a group  of enterprising towns people joined together to formulate plans and ideas. In 2021 we will celebrate our 40th Anniversary, missing only one year in 2020 due to the pandemic.

Many thanks to those early pioneers who made it happen.

In 2021 we need all the help, support and donations we can get to arrange a truly inspiring event.

The Gardens will be at the forefront of this years Festival

Due to the Grant from Llandrindod Wells Town Council of £2,500 this will all be spent on entertainment in the Gardens, our thanks go to the town council for doing this.

We shall have the usual food and beverage outlets - Gin Bar, General Bar, Burger Bar, Ice Cream

and Candy Floss etc.

The gardens will be from 10am from Tuesday 24th August up to and including Bank Holiday Monday when we will host a Community Celebration Day.

Queen Victoria wil open the festival accompanied by her court.

Old events such as the Suffragettes Demonstration, Vintage cycle display and costumed events  for young and old will take place.

The Torchlight Display will leave the gardens for the lakeside firework display at 8.15pm on the Sunday.

We will also have a funfair on the gardens.

Entertainment will be from 11.30am to 2.30pm daily  on the bandstand and also a good old knees up Pearly Picnic plus a Floral Arrangement lessons and best cake competition.

An overload of music and events on the bandstand and for your canine friends a Companion  Dog Show.

Subject to Covid restrictions being lifted on or before 19th July.
